Dear valued readers,
now I actually have a brief relevant update on my Korean studies:
Dear valued readers,
due to personal reason I did not publish my weekly progress in calendar week 50-52, as initially intended. Until I have removed certain “roadblocks”, I will not publish any further progress here.
It should be noted though that I participate in a free Korean language class offer from a group called “Mannam” from next week on. I also want to note that I intended this weblog as a means of tracking my progress in Korean language study, nothing more, nothing less.
Cheers,
Philipp
Dear valued readers,
and here comes the third weekly update: This time I will keep it brief.
Dear valued readers,

Dear valued readers,
hereby I want to give my first weekly update! Embarrassingly already more than three days too late. This time I want to start out with the life part, to put things into perspective:

Dear valued readers,
today I had my final exam in writing, listening and reading comprehension (yesterday was speaking) at 서울대 Korean Language Education Center and I’m really happy and relieved it is over after just short of three hours of sleep on a couch before the exam!
So how was my exam? Continue reading
Dear valued readers,
after not blogging and refusing “to facebook” for a long time, stumbling over Benny Lewis (Fluent in 3 months) and his book “The Language Hacking Guide” (see p. 35f) got me motivated to start blogging about my language learning efforts and successes!
Transparency and (creating) responsibility were always my favorite values.
The internet makes it easier than ever to actually commit to these values, through publicizing your goals, your fitness (via Nike+), the steps you walk per day, when and where you get (up to) or your savings. (The latter I actually had to google, as I wasn’t aware of one yet.) All these might get publicized by me at a later date.
Now for my goals: My goal is to get as far as I can in Korean in the next circa four months. More specifically, being able to be conversational and well-versed in writing! All while also succesfully mastering the S-TOPIK test at the 29.01.2012 at at least the 3rd Grade! (One should actually pass the TOPIK with 70+% to equal 4th Grade if possible.)
I will upload more specifics including my plan and progress at least weekly!
Cheers,
필립
